GT Room

The bonus room how now been turned into the Georgia Tech room. They day after Christmas Christi and I spent most of the day working in there. Christi's parents and Jason came over to help get everything setup and were a big help. The room still isn't 100% finished, but we are getting close! Here are some pictures of how the room looks now. To give you an idea on how far it has come and why it has taken so long, I'll re-post some of the original pictures. Enjoy!

More GT decorations - GT signed football and helmet

Recognize the signature between GEORGIA TECH and the GT logo? None other than the legend himself - Calvin Johnson!

Calvin's signature on the helmet. #55 Durant Brooks went to high school with me. He also got drafted to play in the NFL.

Entertainment Center. Hooked-up the surround sound with the DVD player. Still working on speaker setup. Plan to replace TV eventually.

My RAT cap

The other gold wall and more GT decorations. Signed jerseys are going to be put in shadow boxes and hung on the walls... somewhere.

Really awesome GT sign that Christi gave me for Christmas. Looks great on that wall!

2005 GT football season in review by pictures. Christi made this for me. She's very talented!

Going down the stairs

That's where the room is at right now. Yesterday Christi's dad and I began work on the next phase on the room - the bar. After a lot of discussion at Lowe's, we bought the main materials and began work last night. The footprint / platform of the bar is finished and today we should get most of the structure done. The bar will be going in the corner underneath the GT football shelves. I'll post pictures as progress is made.

Speaking of, I'm about to continue work on the bar. Have a great weekend!
