Bakers - R - Us

We're watching Criminal Minds right now. It's another good episode (as usual).


We're also waiting on some cakes to get done baking. I forgot to mention in the weekend update that a lady called us and asked Christi to make a birthday cake for her son's 4th birthday party (Christi also did his 1st.) She wanted Christi to do his 2nd and 3rd but those where while we were living in Woodstock and she did not have the time to bake.


This cake is going to be a firetruck cake. It's going to be only our 2nd time doing a true 3D cake. I think she will be able to do it without much problem. It is just going to take time, which is something we don't have a lot of at the moment with the yard sale, work and things to do around the house. Thankfully we got 99% of the yard sale work done this weekend. Tomorrow we will more than likely put up the signs for the yard sale at a few stop signs and intersections around here. We'll also have an add in the "garage sale" section of the classifieds, which is overpriced but should generate some much needed traffic.


Picture update: still no sign of battery charger. All the accessories that go with the charger are where they should be, but it seems like the charger has vanished. I'll keep looking. Until then, use your imagination to see what the finished bathroom looks like.
