Blah

The pretty much sums up the weather today. Very blah. Overcast and rainy here. At work we had a bad lightening storm and hard rain. On my way to the dentist is rained (and going to the dentist is also BLAH!) and on my way home from the dentist it rained some more as well as knocked out the power for a short while. However, my yard is looking good now thanks to the rain! This year there have been some really bad storms in Georgia. Thankfully today is was just thunderstorms. In case you were wondering, nothing major going on at the dentist. Just a routine cleaning. Thankfully I'm done going there for the year. Enough about me.


Christi's first day was good, although she stepped in an ant bed at recess and got ant bites all on her foot! I think she'll live through it. Today, she came home exhausted but she said she enjoyed her day and thinks it will be a good year. She has to used to getting up early again but I think she will survive. I know she really enjoys working with the kids and she is a great teacher! It's amazing how much progress they can make in a year, especially in 1st grade. She definitely misses her teacher friends from last year, but I know she will make some good friends here as well.
